Warren Adelman
President, COO - Go Daddy Group
Warren is responsible for day-to-day operations of the
company, as well as resource management, process improvement and corporate
strategic planning. Among the organizations he oversees are Information
Technology, Information Security and Continuity Planning, Development, Domain
Name Services and Customer Sales and Service. Prior to entering the private
sector, Warren spent six years in international relations at the Israeli Embassy
in Washington, D.C., where he served as Chief of Public Affairs. During this
time, Warren was a member of the Media and Communications team for Israel's
Delegation to Bilateral Peace Talks held in Washington, D.C., between 1991 and
1996. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from
the University of Toronto, Canada, and served as an officer in the Israel
Defense Forces.

David has 19 years of marketing experience with a wide range of emerging

alliances. Prior to Goodmail, David was vice president of enterprise products
for Connectix Corporation, where he launched the company's Virtual Server
product up through acquisition by Microsoft. As executive vice president for
home networking pioneer Alation Systems (now part of Cypress Semiconductor) he
led marketing and business development for the company's wireless home
networking products. Prior David was vice president of marketing for Worldtalk
Corporation, later acquired by Tumbleweed Communications and managed reseller
sales for BeyondMail, served as IDC's senior analyst for electronic mail, and
worked in product marketing on Lotus Notes. He is a 1987 graduate of Tufts
University.

Kai Axford
Senior Security Strategist, Microsoft Corporation
Kai is responsible for discussing and recommending security solutions for both
private and public sector organizations. He is a frequent speaker at security
conferences, executive meetings, and business seminars around the world. Kai
is currently pursuing an MBA in Information Assurance and is a member of ISSA,
INFRAGARD, ASIS, and the North Texas Electronic Crimes Task Force. He was the
recipient of the 2006 “Rising Star” award from the Information Security
Executive council. Prior to Microsoft, Kai served as a leader in several
real-world operations with the U.S. Army's elite 75th Ranger Regiment.
Originally from Wisconsin, Kai is a huge NFL Green Bay Packers fan. He is based
in Dallas, Texas with his lovely wife and a (very wet) yellow Labrador.

Michael Barrett
Chief information Security Officer, PayPal
Michael is responsible for ensuring the security of information systems and
services, as well as the integrity and confidentiality of customer and employee
information. Before joining PayPal, Michael was vice president of security and
utility strategy at American Express where he helped define the company’s
information-security program and directed its Internet technology strategy.
Previously, Michael was president of the Liberty Alliance, an open-standards
consortium focused on identity management standards and guidelines. Michael was
the driving force behind the introduction and standardization of the Alliance’s
federated identity concepts, and he also co-chaired its Identity Theft
Prevention Working Group. Barrett is both a certified information systems
security professional (CISSP) and a certified information security manager (CISM).
He graduated from Brighton University (U.K.), where he earned a bachelor of
science degree in computer science.

George Bilbrey

George Bilbrey is Return Path’s Vice President and General Manager of
Deliverability Assurance Solutions. As co-founder of Return Path, George helped
pioneer the deliverability space helping both marketers and ISPs understand and
overcome the challenges concerning email marketing deliverability. In addition
to his daily responsibilities at Return Path, George serves on the Board of the
Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group, otherwise known as MAAWG, and is the Chair
for the Email Sender and Provider Coalition and the Reputation Committee of the
Authentication and Online Trust Association. He holds a B.A. in Economics from

Ken Blotteaux
Deputy Director, National Cyber-Forensics
and Training Alliance (NCFTA)
Mr. Blotteaux brings twenty-three years of private sector experience to
this position, specializing in organized retail, financial, and cyber
crime investigative strategies. Blotteaux is embedded with the FBI at
the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) in Fairmont, West Virginia,
serving as primary interface with the IC3 and the merchant/retail
industry. Mr. Blotteaux was critical to the development of the
LooksTooGoodToBeTrue.com website, an internet resource for information,
reporting and education for consumers who may be the victims of cyber
crime. Blotteaux has successfully deployed unique and aggressive
technology applications, in furtherance of investigations, which have
been adopted by federal and state law enforcement. Blotteaux has
consulted with the FBI Cyber Division on major domestic and
international initiatives and provides Cyber Investigative Training at
the FBI Training Academy at Quantico, Virginia. |

Stefan Brands
Principal Architect, Microsoft Canada
Stefan works closely with the Identity & Access Group on the technical
strategy and architecture of user-centric identity and access systems.
Outside of his work at Microsoft, Stefan serves as an adjunct professor
in modern cryptology at McGill University in Montreal. Prior to joining
Microsoft, Stefan worked for twelve years at three companies that
pioneered privacy-enhancing authentication technologies: Credentica
(minimal disclosure tokens), Zeroknowledge Systems (anonymous data
transport), and DigiCash (electronic cash). Stefan is the author of a
book on minimal disclosure tokens, published by The MIT Press . He
maintains a blog on digital identity at

Des Cahill
CEO, Habeas Inc.
Des has transformed California-based Habeas from a
company best known for haiku poetry to the company that is building the
infrastructure for legitimate email. His background includes marketing,
sales and operations experience at some of America's best-known
technology companies (Apple Computer, America Online, Netscape) and
successful stints at some high-profile start-ups (Autonomy, BridgeSpan
and eFax.com). Prior to joining Habeas, Cahill was with BridgeSpan, a
Benchmark-Sequoia real-estate services firm where he directed marketing,
business and corporate development activities. Des is well known on the
email and anti-spam speaker circuit, and is an acknowledged authority on
sender accreditation and reputation. He advises senders on how to
establish their email reputation, and receivers on how to adopt
technologies to improve their ability to cost-effectively and reliably
process email streams. He is an evangelist for accountability in email.

computing experiences. During his tenure at Microsoft, Cullen has been a

processes that enhance trust. Cullen is on the board of the IAPP,
and also sits on the board of TRUSTe, a group dedicated to protecting
privacy and building trust on the Internet. Before joining Microsoft,

Jim Fenton
Distinguished Engineer - Cisco Technology
Center
Mr. Fenton is responsible for defining a number of new initiatives
relating to user-centric identity, emergent collaboration, and e-mail
security. He is an active member of the design team for DomainKeys
Identified Mail (DKIM), and was the lead architect for one of its
predecessors, Identified Internet Mail. He has also recently been
responsible for defining a number of new initiatives relating to
router-based security. In previous roles at Cisco, Mr. Fenton has
managed development efforts relating to VoIP features for service
providers, store-and-forward fax, and was a key member of the team that
established Cisco in the dial access market. Mr. Fenton came to Cisco
from the acquisition of Combinet, Inc., where he was Director of
Technology and drove the introduction of IP and IPX routing to
Combinet's products. Mr. Fenton has Bachelor of Science and Master of

members, and provides a forum to discuss phishing and crimeware issues
and evaluations of potential technology solutions. David is also the
Chief Executive Officer of IronKey, maker of the world's most secure
flash drive with Internet protection services. David's career in
Internet security spans more than 10 years, having held senior
management positions at Tumbleweed Communications, Valicert, Teros and
Differential. He holds numerous U.S. patents, and has a Master of

Harry is a lead program manager for anti-spam with the Windows Live Safety
Platform group at Microsoft. He is responsible for delivering anti-spam
technology and services to product groups across Microsoft, including
Windows Live Hotmail, Exchange Server, Forefront Server and Outlook. Harry
helped develop and drive Sender ID, an industry-wide approach to dealing
with the problem of email spoofing and phishing. Previously Harry was
responsible for the email hygiene capabilities of Exchange Server. Since
joining Microsoft 10 years ago, he has also worked on Exchange connectors
and developer tools. Prior to Microsoft, Harry worked as a project manager
with LinkAge Software on a variety of email gateway and directory
synchronization products. Harry has a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer
Science from the University of Waterloo.

Allyn Lynd
FBI Special Agent, Cybercrime Task Force
Special Agent Lynd is a 1989 Graduate of the United States Military Academy at
West Point. Upon graduation, he served for eight years as an Air Cavalry
Officer, receiving a Bronze Star and Air Medal
For Valor during Operations Desert Storm and Shield. In 1997, he left the Army
to join the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In 1998, he was selected to help
form one of the FBI’s regional computer crime squads in Dallas, TX. Since 1998,
he has investigated computer intrusions, cyber terrorism, theft of trade
secrets, economic espionage, copyright and trademark infringements, identity
theft, and other high technology crimes. He was the case agent, responsible for
successful investigations involving; the first Federal theft of trade secret
investigation in Texas, scores of instances of computer intrusion involving
millions of dollars of loss to the victims, and numerous investigations
resulting in the prevention of computer attacks.

Fran Maier is the Executive Director and President of TRUSTe,
the leading brand in online privacy. Ms. Maier brings 15+ years of
experience building consumer brands and enhancing consumer trust. Since Ms.

As Washington’s 17th Attorney
General and the state's chief legal officer, he directs 500 attorneys and
nearly 700 professional staff providing legal services to state agencies, boards
and commissions. General McKenna’s ongoing priorities are 1) Keeping communities
safer by leading the state in fighting meth, sexual predators and domestic
violence; 2) Protecting consumers and businesses from identity theft, fraud and
high-tech crimes, such as cyber fraud, phishing and spyware; and 3) Promoting
integrity in government by defending the state’s laws, implementing new

Craig Newmark
Customer service rep and founder of Craigslist
A web-oriented software engineer by training, with 30 years of IT experience at
companies such as IBM and Bank of America, Craig now spends his days working as
a customer service rep at craigslist. In 1999, Craig retired from IT consulting
to work full-time on craigslist. What started as a fun side project in Craig's
living room has since grown into one of the busiest sites on the internet,
helping people with basic day-to-day needs such as finding a job, an apartment
and a date, all within a culture of trust. Craig continues to embrace his inner
nerd though he no longer wears thick black glasses that are held together with
tape, and he retired the plastic pocket protector some years ago. Craig is
involved with a variety of community efforts and is particularly interested in
organizations promoting public diplomacy, mideast peace and new forms of media
such as participatory journalism. He's on the boards of Sunlight Foundation,
OneVoice, FactCheckED, Consumer Union and VotoLatino. Craig graduated from Case
Western University.

Patrick Peterson
Vice President of Technology - IronPort Systems
Patrick is Vice President of Technology at IronPort Systems. He began at
IronPort performing market research and product definition for the email
infrastructure products that have become IronPort's Email Security
Appliances and was instrumental in the creation of SenderBase, the
industry's first and largest email traffic monitoring service. Prior to
joining IronPort Systems, Peterson held engineering and marketing management
positions at Savi Technology, including managing the Engineering and
Manufacturing departments as Vice President, Engineering Operations.
Peterson played a critical role during the sale of the company to Texas
Instruments and also in winning a $111 million competitively bid logistics
contract. Peterson holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical
engineering from Stanford University and holds patents related to antennas,
radio frequency communications and email authentication techniques.

providing a variety of anti-phishing services since 2003. The company was
created in 2000 as a full-service corporate domain management provider, and has

and on-line fraud using domain names. Rod is responsible for day-to-day
operations of the company, as well as systems development, industry outreach,
and corporate strategy. Prior to founding Internet Identity, Rod held product
marketing and management positions with a variety of Internet, e-mail, computer
networking, and computer communications companies. He received his MBA from UC
Berkeley and holds Bachelors Degrees in Computer Science and Economics from the
University of Rochester, and spent several years working as an analyst for the
United States Congress.

Ken Schneider serves as chief technology officer, Network and Gateway Security Solutions, where he drives the group's technology roadmap, system architecture, and key technology partnerships related to the network and gateway security businesses. He is also responsible for the overall network and gateway security technology strategy. Prior to joining Symantec, Ken served as CTO and VP of Operations of Brightmail, the leading anti-spam software company that was successfully acquired by Symantec. Before Brightmail, Ken founded and was president of South Beach Software, a software company that developed international language and paint system products for the professional video market. Prior to that, Ken was an independent software consultant for clients such as Sun Microsystems,

testifies before Congress and Executive Branch Agencies on these issues.
Schwartz also leads the Anti-Spyware Coalition (ASC) , anti-spyware software
companies, academics, and public interest groups dedicated to defeating spyware.
In 2006, Schwartz won the RSA award for Excellence in Public Policy for his work

Lauren is the e-marketing manager for the National Geographic
Society, one of the world's largest nonprofit scientific and educational
organizations in Washington D.C. Founded in 1888 to "increase and diffuse

planet. Lauren is responsible for managing the Society's email program, which
includes commerce emails, editorial newsletters, and business-to-business emails

Craig is responsible for Microsoft's Internet security and privacy efforts
focusing on prevention, detection and remediation technologies and services.
Spiezle manages the company's involvement with industry working groups, industry
partners and governmental agencies. Craig is also Chairman of AOTA, responsible
for setting the strategic vision of the organization while representing AOTA to
industry, business and governmental organizations. Craig is the Steering
Committee of APWG, Interactive Marketing Council of the DMA, on the Editorial

Forum. Starting with Microsoft in 1992, Spiezle has held various
managerial positions including international channel development.

Pablo is a Director of Engineering for Messaging and Web Security. In this
role, he oversees the development of the company's award-winning anti-spam
messaging solutions, which monitors and processes more than a billion e-mail
messages per day worldwide. Before joining Symantec, Pablo was a Group
Program Manager at Windows Live Hotmail. In this role, he led the team in
charge of anti-spam and e-mail delivery. During his tenure, Pablo worked on
integrating various anti-spam solutions into Hotmail including Symantec
Brightmail, SmartScreen, SenderScore, anti-phishing and Sender ID and
increasing industry awareness through Postmaster initiatives. Prior to
Microsoft, Pablo held software development positions at various start-ups

Charles has over 18 years experience in the use of technology in
business environments. He was the former Postmaster for America Online.
During his ten years at AOL he has focused his efforts on improving the
customer experience through a better use of technology in Member
Services, the AOL Network Operation Center and as Postmaster for one of
the largest email systems in the world. He currently serves as the
Chairman of the Board for the Messaging Anti-Abuse Work Group. Charles
speaks frequently with industry analysts and at industry events, working
closely with others to help generate a better understanding of the email
environment and potential solutions for a better consumer experience.

Scott Weiss

Scott was one of the early team members at Hotmail, the world's largest
web-based email service. After Hotmail's acquisition by Microsoft,

developed a concept in the e-commerce space, and pulled together the
core team to incubate the idea. In the process of seeking funding for
the concept, Scott met with leaders of the Venture Capital industry, and
ultimately resulted in Scott joining idealab! as Managing Director and
Entrepreneur in Residence. It was at idealab! that Scott Weiss met Scott
Banister, and their combined experience germinated into IronPort. Scott
had been a consultant at McKinsey & Co and is a graduate of the EDS

Advertising Bureau (IAB). Mike joined IAB in January of 2007 and runs

Commerce. As the chief technology and telecommunications lobbyist, he
oversaw issues affecting the business community pertaining to

Prior to joining the Chamber's lobby team, Mike served as the
